Zermatt

Zermatt is a tiny village and ski resort in the Alps in the south of Switzerland, bordering with Italy. I went there with a group of Googlers in July '09, and spent the day taking pictures of the surroundings.

What amazed me most was the fact that it took only 15 minutes on a cable car to travel from what can undeniably be called a typical summer forest to skiing slopes covered with fresh snow. Both the sets below were taken on the same day, and roughly in the same place!
