My name is Max Shawabkeh. This site is a repository of some of the works I have created over the years - apps, mods, extensions, and various other bit and pieces. The links at the top will take you to sections concerning a particular area, while the links on the right lead to my work info and profiles on other sites.

A Little About Me

I live in Venice, CA and work at Riot Games as an R & D Engineer. In my free time I play video games, climb rocks, and bake award-winning pies.

I have been programming for fun since I was 13, and professionally since I was 16. I started by writing Morrowind mods, most of which are available from this site. Then I learned a few general purpose programming languages and started doing freelance work at Rent A Coder. There I eventually met the folks from Pipl for whom I worked until 2009. In 2009 I did an internship at Google Switzerland, and in 2010 another one at Google Mountain View. In 2011 I returned to Google as a fulltime engineer and worked on Google Earth Engine until mid-2015, when I joined Riot Games as an R & D engineer.

I know a fair few programming languages, though some I have learned only superficially, to gain insight into their features and the paradigms they use. The computer languages (programming and otherwise) which I know well enough to write production code include Python, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, PHP, VB, Sawzall, SQL, HTML, CSS and Regex. The languages I've studied superficially include LISP, Scheme, Prolog, Haskell, Go, Matlab, Ada, HLSL and x86 Assembly.

I also happen to know a few natural languages: I speak Russian, English and Arabic fluently, and understand Ukrainian fairly well.
